Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behaviour expected of everyone involved in WFF New Zealand activities. It applies to all competitors, coaches, officials, administrators, volunteers, support personnel, spectators, and members of the public participating in or attending WFF-sanctioned events.
All individuals are expected to uphold the principles of integrity, respect, responsibility, fairness, and safety in relation to bodybuilding, fitness, training, and competition activities.
All participants must act honestly and ethically at all times. This includes:

Conducting themselves in a fair, respectful, and transparent manner

Avoiding actual or perceived conflicts of interest

Maintaining the trust and confidence of the wider community
-
Refraining from the use, possession, or promotion of banned performance-enhancing substances, methods, or illicit drugs

Avoiding any behaviour that may compromise the integrity or reputation of WFF New Zealand, including illegal or corrupt activities

Everyone involved in WFF New Zealand is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect. This includes:

Acting courteously and professionally toward others at all times

Rejecting all forms of discrimination, harassment, bullying, abuse, intimidation, or vilification
-
Respecting individuals regardless of age, race, gender, sexuality, disability, religion, or background
-
Acknowledging and valuing the contributions of athletes, officials, coaches, volunteers, and administrators

All individuals are expected to take responsibility for their actions and decisions. This includes:

Understanding and accepting the consequences of their behaviour

Acting as a positive role model within the bodybuilding and fitness community
-
Demonstrating appropriate conduct when interacting with individuals under 18 years of age
-
Reporting any suspected breaches of this Code of Conduct to the appropriate WFF authority

WFF New Zealand is committed to fair and inclusive participation. All individuals must:

Understand and comply with the rules and spirit of WFF competitions

Act impartially, consistently, and reasonably in all dealings

Promote sportsmanship and respect over winning at any cost

Support equal opportunity for participants of all abilities to develop and reach their potential

The health, welfare, and wellbeing of all participants is a priority. This includes:

Supporting a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment

Ensuring that events, facilities, equipment, and programs meet appropriate health and safety standards
-
Being aware of injury management procedures and participant wellbeing
-
Showing care and caution toward injured or unwell individuals and reporting safety concerns promptly
-
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action in accordance with WFF policies and procedures.
